Everest Base Camp Trek Photography Course
Location: Khumbu Himalaya, Nepal 17,500 ft.
Dates: March 30 - April 16, 2015 (18 days from Kathmandu to Kathmandu)
Run in conjunction with Mountain Professionals, join renowned Polar Adventurer and Expedition guide Eric Larsen
for a trek to Everest Base Camp base - eventually reaching an altitude of over 17,000 feet. Easily the journey
of a lifetime, we will slowly make our way through some of the most pristine and stunning places in the world.
Unlike other base camp treks, this trek is also a photography course that will teach you how to capture incredible
images from one of the most amazing places on the planet. Each day, participants will have a 'photo assignment'
to complete. Evenings also feature seminars ranging from - exposure, composition, depth of field, subject matter,
photo editing and adventure photography.
Meeting in Kathamndu, we fly to a small Sherpa village of Lukla to begin the trek. Along the way we will stop and rest in small villages and tea shops while taking in breath taking views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse and of course, Everest.
The more hearty in the group will have the opportunity to spend a night at base camp - expedition style. Hiking to Everest Base camp is non-technical walk and is suitable for beginner and advanced. However, great care must still be made to acclimatize safely to the extreme altitude.
Cost of Trip: USD $4,800
